Tuttorock – 1991 Review

Here the first rewiew for the debut album of Overdose

If the opening “This is my shit” offers immediately a good impression, “Alan’s Trip”, starts with a granite bass line followed by fiery guitar riffs, growls and well made chords, all on top of a good and powerful Rhythmic foundation.
A surprising “Riding to the groove” abandons the heavy tones of the previous tracks in order to dig into melodic rock.
Interesting the metal review of Cornershops hit “Brimful of Asha”, as “I don’t remember your name” remains enjoyable and “Whore’s War” too grave.

A good album, composed and performed as it should be, it even avoids falling into the boredom of obvious, having various rock declinations and managing to be always, or almost, enjoyable.
